I lie awake at night stare into the sky and dream of what my life could be.
Time passes by with every blink of my eyes.
The dark could swallow me alive.
What if my destiny is not what I long to be? If it’s not right for me? How am I supposed to be happy with what I will become?
A slave to humanity, you’re not really living but just existing.
You're lost inside the eyes of a lifeless world that's leaving you behind.
Everybody dies.
When my alarm went off I think I nearly died,
Is this how life is meant to be? Cause it doesn't seem right to me.
People always say ''make the most of today.” They willingly waste away.
Don't wait for your world to fade.
I won't waste away, in fear of reality.
Pursue your aspirations, be free.
As long as you're happy don't drown in the sea of misery.
You can be what you want if you believe,
My cynical dream for humanity.
A heart too big for this world to, so hold drown me in this sea of my hope.
So drown me, so drown me in my hopes and dreams.
Don't let me fade away.
I await my fate. The voice of time is calling my name.
I wake to the sound of my destiny,
What I want to be.
I await my fate,
I create my fate,
This world won't wait.
